ACCIPITRIFORMES: Accipitridae
Aquila audax
Driving along an outback track we came across this Wedge-tailed Eagle nest with three "nestlings" at the top of the highest tree in the area.
The tree was only about 3 metres high which gave us almost eyeball-to-eyeball vision with these young birds.
